Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships

Students learn social and emotional skills to build healthy relationships, resilience and confidence.

The Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) curriculum is an evidence-based whole school approach to social and emotional learning. This approach is designed to develop the personal and social capabilities of students, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management. The relationships in a student’s life, including those with friends, family and peers, can influence their physical health, promote self-esteem and assist them in developing a sense of belonging.

The RRRR learning materials include 8 Social and Emotional Learning topics across all levels of primary and secondary education:

  • Emotional Literacy

  • Personal Strengths

  • Positive Coping

  • Problem Solving

  • Stress Management

  • Help Seeking

  • Gender and Identity

  • Positive Gender Relationships.
