Out of School Hours Care

Ivanhoe Primary operates an excellent Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program.  Before School Care is conducted each school day between 7.00am and 8.45am with Breakfast provided for children who arrive before 8.30am.  After School Care is between 3.30pm and 6.00pm with Afternoon Tea provided. 

We endeavour to provide the highest quality childcare in a safe, enjoyable, stimulating, and caring environment. The program includes a wide variety of activities that are thoroughly prepared and implemented to meet our children’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. In this way the program complements the school’s activities and is consistent with the school’s policies and practices.

Ivanhoe Primary OSHC is registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council to participate in Outside School Hours Care Quality Assurance.  This service is approved to provide education and care to 150 children. Places are in high demand and are limited to 150 (Before Care) and 150 (After Care). Children must be registered and unfortunately there is no guarantee places will be available.

Fee structure: effective 2024

General

Before Care $18.50

After Care $21.50

Casual Surcharge $2.00

 After 6pm late fees apply. 

*Staffing costs are considerable so in order to keep these down all bookings must be paid for.

Late Fees: $15 for the first 15 minutes then $20 for the second and subsequent 15 mins or part of

OSHC Online Enrolment applications via SmartCentral

How it works

We have an ONLINE ENROLMENT SYSTEM through the SmartCentral Parent Portal.

Parents are requested to create a profile and then use the enrolment form online.

It is most important to complete this application form for before care and after school care.

Payments

Payments are requested to be set up as an automatic direct debit in your SmartCentral profile.

Payments are generated fortnightly through the SmartCentral system. Invoices are made the day before Direct debit takes place. Direct debit is the preferred type of payment, alternatively, EFTpos is available at the OSHC office or over the phone.

If you require a casual booking it must be made before 5:30pm the night before. We are then able to confirm your booking.
