IVANHOE PRIMARY SCHOOL PRIVACY INFORMATION

Our school collects and uses student and parent personal information for standard school functions or where permitted by law, as stated in the Schools’ Privacy Policy and the Schools’ Privacy Collection Notice.

Our Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy describes how we collect and use photographs, video and recordings of students. The policy also explains when parent consent is required and how it can be provided and withdrawn. 

We ask parents to also review the guidance we provide on how we use Microsoft 365 safely at the school and what parents can do to further protect their child’s information. If after reviewing the guidance, you have any questions or concerns regarding your child using [Microsoft 365, please contact the school.

IVANHOE PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENT PAYMENT POLICY

Schools must provide students with free instruction and ensure students have free access to all items, activities and services that are used by the school to fulfil the requirements of the Curriculum.

  • Schools may ask parents to:

    • make voluntary financial contributions towards the cost of schooling under 2 categories: Curriculum Contributions and Other Contributions

    • purchase optional Extra-Curricular Items and Activities on a user-pays basis

    • supply or purchase their own educational items for their child to use and to own.

  • Schools must apply the Financial Help for Families policy when implementing the Parent Payments policy.

Ready to book your school tour?

A tour of the school can be organised with  our Junior School Councillors (students) or with one of our Principals if available. The school is popular so we will also be running group tours on particular dates. Contact the office for the next available date or to arrange a convenient time.
